Accessibility & Parking

The lower floor of the McConnell Mansion is ADA accessible, but we regret that we cannot offer ADA bathroom facilities or access to the mansion's upper floor. The side door facing south, towards Second street does not have stairs to enter. For those visitors who cannot climb stairs, we have tablets and other tools to assist with viewing the second floor and display panels throughout the museum. Please speak to the docent if you would like access to these tools.

The McConnell Mansion has two accessible parking spaces on the east side of the building, between the Mansion and the Unitarian Universalist Church. To park there, go down the alley, accessed on Adams street and park along the white fence on the east side of the property.

For those that do not require accessible parking, street parking near the museum on Adams Street and Second Street is usually available.
