Centennial Annex - Research Office & Archive
The Centennial Annex (at 327 East Second Street) houses Latah County Historical Society's archival, photograph, and object collections, along with a small research library. Our collections pertain to Latah County history and include materials donated by families, businesses, clubs and organizations, and local newspapers. These robust collections are utilized by researchers pursuing a variety of projects, from filling in a family tree to figuring out who once lived in their home to writing a popular history book . The office also has Ancestry access for those interested in genealogy.
The Centennial Annex is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Research appointments are required and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your visit. There is usually street parking available nearby and an accessible parking space in front of our office. Our office has an ADA accessible ramp and an ADA compliant restroom. Please give us a call if you have any questions.
